Dr. Plyler is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Fellows in the Academy must complete 500 hours of continuing education and pass The Fellowship Exam. Continuing education is important to Dr. Plyler and he consistently takes well above the 30 hours per year required of Arkansas dentists. Most years Dr. Plyler takes 100 hours or more of continuing education and has taken classes in two foreign countries. Dr. Plyler earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Southern Arkansas University in 1981 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee in 1985.
