The Glenwood Resource Center, also known as GRC, serves individuals with disabilities by providing services in partnership with community-based service providers. The center employs psychologists, social workers, occupational, physical and speech therapists, audiologists, leisure specialists, dietitians, nurses, physicians, pharmacists, psychiatrists and dental assistants. It offers specialty medical services in the areas of podiatry, surgery, otolaryngology, gynecology and optometry. The Glenwood Resource Center offers several family support and outreach services, such as consulting, time limited assessments, individual and facility-based respite care, supported employment and in-home care. The center is operated by the Iowa Department of Human Services and additionally offers residential services.
