Fast, and helpful. In medical, fire or safety concerns, local health and vaccination questions, even emergencies needing ambulance services and any other circumstance not requiring police, or not wanting police assistance, the Gloucester Fire Department is the best to call. It's faster calling Fire Dept directly instead of 911 bc you'll bypass being transferred and won't wait according to priority or answer millions of questions. And people avoiding police incase of overdose, warrant, etc. Call Fire Dept. or ambulance directly. Don't risk someone's life bc your afraid you'll get in trouble, you can AT LEAST call with address and then leave, WORSE CASE SCENARIO.
