Swords Marine was started by Bob is 2011 as a strictly mobile service. As business grew the need for a shop was quickly discovered. Bob quickly acquired a small shop space in historic Gloucester Courthouse and his son Bobby began working for him on his days off from his full time job until he started full time with the company in early 2013. In early 2013 Swords Marine saw the need to expand again and moved to its current location in the Cobbs Creek area of Mathews, VA. The new location includes a 1,200 sq/ft show and parts room and a 2,400 sq.ft 3 bay shop. At the same time Dale was brought on as a third mechanic and Janet began running the front office.
