Burr Oak State Park is an outdoor recreational destination located at Glouster, Ohio. The place is nestled among the hills of Athens, Morgan and Perry Counties and features a host of resort amenities and camping sites. The park features over 25 miles of scenic hiking trails, picnic tables, grills, 500-feet sandy beach and a shelter house for the public use. The 664-acre lake is well known for its catch of largemouth bass, crappie, bluegills and catfish. The guests can indulge in fishing activity from the lakeshore or rent a pontoon boat from the seasonal marina and stay in a resort lodge room or a cottage. Its main campground features 17 paved electric sites, 67 quiet nonelectric campsites and 2 camper cabins for the visitors.
