The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is a full-service public safety agency that protects residents lives and property, maintains peace, and enforces local, state and federal laws. It serves and processes various writs, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other county and state departments. The Pinal County Sheriff's Office operates approximately 1500-bed adult detention center that houses individuals who have been arrested and charged with criminal offenses and await disposition of their cases within the criminal justice system. The office maintains criminal investigations, patrol support, public information, and support and volunteer service divisions. Established in 1912, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office maintains an office in Gold Canyon, Ariz.
