Wonderful experience!

My sister and i booked a 2 hour ride. Mark was our guide and we had a wonderful time! Mark was friendly, helpful, and informative. The horses were easy to ride and listened well. Both my sister and I are inexperienced riders, but we felt safe and had a great time! Thanks again Mark!

Great ride!!

We were visiting from VA and were looking for a stable with rides close to Golden! So glad we found Pine Cliff. The ride was gorgeous and the people there are very informative and extremely wise about matching horses to people. It is not your run of the mill guided ride and we enjoyed it tremendously! Thanks Kevin and Judy ~ hope to see you again!

Good horses, good people, good trails

The horses are gentle, well trained, and experienced on mountain trails. Pine Cliff owns its horses and takes good care of them. Many operations lease horses for the season and treat them like rental cars. If you see a scrawny or injured horse at Pine Cliff, it is one that someone else abused or neglected and that Pine Cliff is rehabilitating. Some of Pine Cliff's horses are more than 30 years old. They let them live out their lives rather than euthanize them when they become too old for constant use.Kevin, the manager, has years of experience in this business. Katy, our young guide, must have grown up on a horse. Kevin is very knowledgeable. I deliberately spent time, before and after our ride, talking to him about horses and riding. Everything he said matched what I know about the subject. We ride English style at a hunter jumper stable. Kevin understands the difference between that and western trail riding and gave me good advice. The trails used by Pine Cliff lie in the White Ra
