Never go to this place for smog check or repair. The owner is greedy and irresponsible. I brought my car for a smog check. He could not complete the test because the machine could not find the car computer. He aborted the test, but charged me the full price anyway. He asked for the minimum of $96 to fix it, but promised that he would redo the check for free if it is fixed. I took it to the dealership. The mechanic fixed a loose connector and it is fine to go, not charging me a penny. I brought the car back to Casey for the smog check. The owner wants to charge me $26 again. I said you promised the retest would be for free. He said that is if you had it fixed here. He surely had not mentioned that condition the previous day.



Before bringing my car here, I had the mechanic at the Mobil station on Las Positas do the smog check. He could not find my car computer either, but charge me nothing. He recommended taking the car to some other places. That is what I would call integrity and honesty.
