Cindy serves college bound students grades 7-12 & transfers with college planning, search and application process. With 22 years public education counseling experience and starting her third year of private consulting, Cindy provides up-to-date resources. As an associate member of IECA, and professional member of HECA and WACAC, she attends conferences and webinars, learning inside secrets to admissions and trends. She visits colleges yearly and has amassed a huge library of resources available to parents and students. She used an organizational software program to remind families of appointments, upcoming events, and appropriate actions to be taken based on year in schooling. She emphasis "appropriate college fit" over namebrand college application, thus assuring a happier college experience. She has hints that are not common knowledge. A student advocate first and foremost, she can help with school issues - especially as they relate to learning differences and needs. She will also help with the communication gap between parent and student, helping set up realistic study schedules and commitment to activities so that a healthy balance is obtained. Emphasis is on earlier planning so that the student presents a better profile, stress is reduced, and costly mistakes are not made.A Timeline of Events is emphasized so that important deadlines are not missed.

All families receive a free 30 minute consultation per student. Home office has lending library of research books; maps of colleges nationwide; one-on-one work and some family-style counseling; open Holiday season during application season. Group presentations are given to students at no cost. I will do free presentations to clubs, PTA meetings, friend gatherings and more. Hourly, and money saving packages are given. Financing can be arranged. Discounts are given to siblings, and to clients that result in referrals,.
