Great food and good service. It seemed fairly busy and our food came promptly and salads were fresh! The building was very nice and clean.

My wife and I looked at the reviews and decided to try it a couple weeks ago. I ordered veal, which was over cooked, tough and more breading than veal. My wife had chicken with artichokes, which was FAR too salty. When we saw the pizzas coming out of the kitchen, we realized our mistake had been to not order pizza... So this weekend, we ordered pizza, and it was great! It even rivaled pizza I used to get in a little Hoboken neighborhood outside NY. We got a pepperoni and a veggie, and both were very well done. We might not have found a new place for Italian fare in general, but we have definitely found real pizza in Goochland.

The food here is absolutely delicious, and portions are huge so you will have lunch for the next day. Everything is delicious there especially their veal .Their pizza is really good as well as their pastas! The service is also excellent! highly recommended .

The one stop shop for a great meal in Goochland! Surprisingly, has some of the best sandwiches and cheeseburgers for being a nice, little Italian Restaurant. The dinners are out of this world and I have never had the same one twice...Each experience brings a new dish and a lovely dining experience. I wish they would sell their house dressing to go in addition to the lovely wines and authentic Italian treats.

Out of this world, those are the words I can use to describe my many visits to Bella Sicilia. On our most recent visit, my wife ordered the Pasta A La Vodka and I must say I ate all her left overs. I finished my entire meal, which was the Chicken with Artichokes and it was splendid. We were very happy that the restaurant got their ABC license and we could enjoy a nice bottle of Italian Barbera D'Asti with our meals and I highly recommend everyone to take a bottle home with them. The staff at Bella Sicilia is amazing. Warm smiles even before you walk in the door. Francesca, who is an owner along with her brother and husband, made every visit worth wild. We love that Bella Sicilia found its home in Goochland and we clink our glasses to many years as devoted customers.

Fresh salads, delicious bread, lovely tomato sauce. Friendly family restaurant with happy servers. Owners provide old school Italian comfort food with generous portions-easily enough to take home half for the next day. Casual and charming.Very happy to have a great restaurant in Goochland.I can wait to go back and dring a glass of chianti with veal marsala and the side of pasta with homemade tomato sauce

Why these anonymous bad reviews? I have lived in Italy for over 10 years and in Goochland for three. Finally I can say we have a restaurant which can and should be supported. Perhaps this is why there are not any decent restaurants here and all of us go to Charlottesville and Richmond for a meal out. These bad reviews for a new restaurant are really sad. I can honestly say I know homemade pizza sauce and dough when I eat it...since most of the time I make it myself for lack of finding a good one around. The closest true Italian pizza is in Washington D.C. So please give this place a chance. I have only eaten here once, for lunch, but definitely will be back. The pizza was by far better than anything I have had in our area. Support your community! Before you write a bad review try a second time...and tell the owner to chill the white wine! But the remark about canned sauce? Who are you, Chef Ramsey?!!

The main entre was okay to good; salads were okay; bread was not worth the calories (small white loaf with little to no taste). We ordered a bottle of white wine, which was served warm - unacceptable. The service was poor although, it could be because the staff is not fully trained. I think this restaurant needs a lot of improvement or it won't make it long in Goochland.

My husband and I tried this but the food was terrible. The sauce on the lasagne special came out of a jar and the salad dressing was worse No homemade foods only store bought Really need a good restaurant not another fast food

pizza, subs, and dinners are all great. Try it, you'll like it.

My wife and I have eaten there every Saturday since they opened and always have a great experience. We've tried something different on the menu each time and never had a bad meal. It's a quant place with great food and a great staff.
