Martin Brothers continued for the next three decades as a growing business, serving the domestic and overseas agricultural marketplace. Mr. Robert Martin, Sr., seeing new growth opportunities in the developing earthmoving and forestry equipment markets, formed Martin Equipment of Illinois in 1981 as an authorized John Deere Industrial Equipment dealership, specializing in construction, utility and forestry equipment. Martin Equipment has 10 locations serving the worldwide construction equipment market with locations in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri, including a location in Goodfield, Ill.
