Goodlettsville Middle School, founded in 1937, is affiliated with the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. It has more than 600 students in grades five through eight. The school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs, including English, arts, science, social studies, Spanish, creative writing, visual arts, mathematics and physical education. Goodlettsville Middle School also offers middle school years program, library, parent video center, and several computer laboratories. The school offers four remote-controlled interactive learning systems, five listening centers, school newspaper, band and various athletic programs. It has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school. It is located in Goodlettsville, Tenn.
