First of all I heard a lot of people say that this was an amazing church. We visited one weekend on a Sunday night while traveling. I remember that only one person greeted us during the handshaking time and the whole atmosphere seemed unfriendly. The pastors sermon was terribly boring and extremely lacking in any Bible content. He basically read a verse and then told stories about himself for 40 long minutes. He stated that the previous year they had over 25,000 people saved because of their direct outreach efforts. There were slightly over 100 people in service the night we visited (and no it wasn't a holiday). 25,000? Really? The church website says that they have had 100,000. It is doubtful the pastor or the church leadership can be honest about anything with statements like that.
Anyway this seems more like a cult than a church to me
