Established in 1974, Town & Country Cabinets has been owned and operated by Ronald and Grace Smith since 1976. Their son, David, has been active in the business for over 25 years and their daughter, Carol, joined the team in 2004. Town & Country Cabinets first began production of custom woodworking from a facility on 150 Middle Street in the heart of downtown Portland, Maine. In 1981, the Smiths renovated an abandoned blueberry factory in Gorham, Maine and moved the operation to its present location at 420 Fort Hill Road (Route 114), just 3 miles from the center of town.
