Provided by YP.comWe purchased a brand new 2017 Kodiac Camper in Nov. 2016. Went camping in Maine this pass weekend and we were wiping the walls for five hours. The rain was pouring in. Come to find out the roof seal needs to be resealed every 3 to 6 months. We have owned prior orlder models and never had to upkeep so frequently. Will never buy a Keystone product again

Provided by YP.comLate 2104-2015 we decided to sell our ski boat and purchase a trailer.
Talking to people about Springdale had said it was a pretty good trailer, so we purchased a 28’ Springdale with the set up that we would like.
I have to say this being our first purchase of a travel trailer we will never buy another brand like this.
We have fixed so much stuff on this trailer cause it was so poorly put together it’s not even funny.
Only being 3 years old we already have a couple spots where the grey color is cracking.
Grey in the right picture and the left picture is what’s is cracking.
Molding is coming loose around the cabinets outside.
Molding around the doors is always coming off.
Kitchen blinds are already warpped.
Had to go through all the cabinets and put longer screws in they cause they were falling off cause of the half inch screws they used.
This weekend I had water leaking And coming in around the outer piece of where you fill the trailer up with water.
Long story short if I was to rate the quality of this trailer I would really have to bite my tongue to give it a 1.
Really would be nice if they stood behind the quality of this trailer and replace it with something else.
Below is the pic of our trailer

Provided by YP.comBought one that did not have a secure outer siding...made multiple calls and they would not stand behind their product even though when it was installed you can see where it is missing 14 screw holes that were only half screwed in. I called for several managers and they just say it could not happen. I verified with the previous owner and the company that has done all repairs on the RV and both state this panel was not installed. I would not buy anything from this company they do not product a quality product and they do not stand behind their poorly made produce. I just paid almost $3000 for a repair I should not have been responsible in my opinion.

Provided by YP.comDitto the complaints below! Keystone customer service is the most UNRESPONSIVE customer service department I have ever seen! They won't even respond to my inquiries regarding a refund we were promised and have in writing from one of their representatives! We have had multiple issues with our brand new Keystone trailer...including one issue that caused it to have to be shipped to the plant in Pendleton to be REBUILT!! Now we have a brand new trailer...only used it 14 day and it has been rebuilt!
AND, they won't even tell us what caused the problem, how they fixed it, and how we can be assured that all seals are intact after the rebuild. We get NOTHING in response when contacting them. The next letter may be from our lawyer!

Provided by YP.comStay away from anything that's made by Keystone. We have a 2012 that's been a nightmare since the day we bough it. It was brand new. It's still a nightmare. Buy a Forest River, we had one before we got this JUNK from Keystone and it was awesome. I will be putting up a detailed list of ongoing problem's we have had and all the repairs and the many vacation's that's been reined because of KEYSTONE!!!

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I bought a 2012 Montana 3750 FL brand new in December 2011. I was a Sales Manager for the largest RV dealership in the state of Colorado and a previous to that a Service Manager so I have been around the block a time or two. We had many little issues with our trailer but having the connections that I had was really no big deal to just have my service department fix them, trim that was falling down, doors not closing, awning not opening, slides needing adjustments etc. Pretty much what you would expect from a house rolling down the highway at 70 MPH! The first thing that I told my local Montana rep was that they needed to do something about my spare tire and the rear two jacks (I have 6 point auto level). He asked why and I replied that I would end up loosing both coming in and out of gas stations and drive ways because they are too low. He told me no way, I was crazy! I said to come over to my trailer and I would run a string from the rear tire up to the rear beam of the frame and show him that both were below the point which means that they would get torn off. He stated that they had never had a problem with that. (since then I heard that they have moved the spare tire, RIGHT, NO PROBLEM) I had my warranty admin request lifting my two rear auto level jacks and to move the spare tire to the front, both were denied by Keystone! Pretty big balls Keystone had when I controlled the sales of all Keystone units with heavy influence to pursued customers to go many different directions away from Keystone products! Long story short we were headed to Big Bear CA a few weeks ago and pulled in a gas station and when I looked in my side view mirror, I happened to see a tire and rim sitting in the middle of the street, yes, it was mine. It twisted all my rear cross beams in back etc. I sent Keystone a letter asking them for advice, not to fix the problem but to advise. They sent me an email back stating that they could not advise how to fix design flaws in their own product, NICE. I sold Montana’s for a long time and believed in them enough to buy one myself but to be perfectly honest, I will never sell nor purchase Keystone products again other than selling mine to buy a quality product. They were number one for over ten years but that is changing quickly (and really just marketing) I know many people that are jumping off that ship and going to other companies. I think that the Keystone product is just like a pig, you can put lipstick and a dress on it but it’s still a PIG. If you are going to spend 70-100k, don’t waste it on a Montana, there are far too many good products out there! KEYSTONE IS A JOKE. The following quote came directly from their “customer service”
“Good Afternoon Mr. A…
Thank you for contacting Keystone RV. We apologize for the issues you have experienced with your 2012 Montana. Unfortunately, we cannot authorize or suggest alterations to the unit.
Regards,

Provided by YP.comAs I suspected I received an email from Keystone and yes they denied my request to fix the leak on my slide out or any of the damage. The note said and I quote “The unit has been set up permanently with the slides out contrary to Keystone and the slide manufacturer's recommendations.” Really how did I do that?? Have they even seen my trailer?? Unless Keystone and the slide manufacturer's recommendations say don’t open the slide outs, then mine were set up correct. Mine were set up by Ballentyne RV (their rep). I followed the recommendations to the letter. The problem is the lousy caulk they use on the lower j channel on the slide outs. Their website claims “Because we are the largest manufacturer of towable RVs in the world, our incredible volume allows us to offer you more high quality features for your money than any other brand on the market today. When it comes to giving you more for your RV camping dollar, no other brand can compare to Keystone. With manufacturing facilities in Indiana and Oregon, we can better serve your needs.” Don’t believe it. They use low quality materials and if you catch it in the first year they will replace it with more low quality stuff. If you catch it after a year, oh well it’s your crap now. If you have one of these trailers I suggest that you replace that calk on your slideouts before yours starts to leak. A guy 2 sites down from me bought his 1 month ago and he has already got leaks. Please share this information with anyone who may be thinking about buying a Keystone. If they won’t help you with your leak contact the Better Business Bureau or if you live in New York, the NYS attorney general. If this is an ongoing problem with a lot of their units maybe they can help. They may not fix our trailers but maybe we can help other people from getting the same treatment. And please let people know that they are buying from a company that doesn’t stand behind what they sell. They shouldn’t be able to call themselves number 1.

Provided by YP.comI tried to get a value from NADA on my fifth wheel and it wasn't listed. Keystone customer service was no help and refused my request to talk to someone else. The dealer selling the product was no help either. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
