The receptionists here are a joke. Whenever I tried to make an appointment, they either hung up on me or redirected me to someone's voice mail box. Their staff are rude and disrespectful. It is impossible to even obtain a session because of how incompetent the receptionists are.

This place is like a zoo and so understaffed. I feel so SORRY for the ladies that work up front. Not only do they have to do their jobs. They deal with the craziness dished out to them from the patients due them not getting their meds on time or needing to get a follow up appointment. Also on top of that they have to follow behind the MA and constantly make excuses for her not doing her job. The 48 hour turn around for refills is just ridiculous and she is VERY unprofessional. I had my first appointment there five months ago with the help Maria who was very compassionate and understanding of my issues. She did what she could to get me in as soon as she could.

Dr. Gordon refused to help me with samples when I lost my insurance and my meds would cost $1000 for 1 month. I've been on this medication for a LONG time and he refused to help me to my face. The medical assistant went above and beyond with trying to help me find alternative options while my "doctor" refused to help me when I needed it. He'd rather I go off the meds cause I couldn't afford $1000 this month! The ONLY reason this place gets more than 1 Star is because of the Med Assistnat!

This place needs to be called center for stress INduction. The reception staff is horrible. I've had three experiences where I was charged a $50 no show charge; twice because I forgot about my appointment which was booked 1 month in advanced, and was never called to be given a reminder, and another time when I did show up, but no one was behind the counter (it was a late night appt) and I was banging on the door and no one heard me so I left.



As for the medical staff, they are nice, but I think under staffed. It is very hard to make an appointment.

I was shocked to find out there is one medical assistant to handle four doctors patients', all authorizations and refills for every patient at the center., and any emergencies. I have been in there and seen here running around like crazy trying to handle emergencies amd take care of patients. I had a problem with an authorization that took two weeks and come to find out it was my insurance company causing the delay. Definitely think that another person needs to be hired t help with medications because it is not an easy position.

I like my doctors at the Center For Stress Reduction, however when I need a medication refill or a medication preautherazation it with does not get done or takes weeks. The medial assistant never returns calls and clearly is behind in her work. Maybe they should hire another person to help with medical perceptions

Dr.Wolfson is the worst psychiatrist I have ever met!! this person should NOT be practicing medicine or prescribing medications for ANYONE!! He decided to refuse my son treatment because my ex said he wanted custody, the judge gave me custody 14 years ago., BUT this idiot choses to stop treatment abruptly and abandon his patient. My son went through withdrawals due to the abrupt halt to his Risperdal. The Dr NEVER contacted me, the office manager Jenn Never contacted me, instead 6 weeks later Dr Wolfson offers a prescription of Prozac to my son when his father took him. When I took my son for a follow up visit after being put on prozac, I was accused of tape recording the visit, apparently this so called doctor has something to hide. My ex had my son call Dr. Wolfson who in return called my son for 20 minutes and NEVER told me, this doctor calls a minor child and never notifies the custodial parent??? I had to find the calls on my phone bill. Jenn the office manger refused to give me the name of the medical director to make my complaint, I have now obtained an attorney and filed a complaint with the physician review board in Albany NY. Pending the response from the board I will be filing malpractice and patient abandonment charges against this inappropriate clinician.

I found him to be very personable, very thorough with my first few visits. Extremely attentive and one of the few who actually listens to the client and allows input with treatment. Highly recommend !!!

Absolutely the WORST! Tried to give a 17 Y.O. boy, who has a problem focusing, anti depressants against our wishes. The school is NO help because although they see his weakness its not "bad" enough to help him. We finally decided to try ADHD meds, but they wouldnt even hear it after speaking to my son for 10 minutes and me about 3 minutes. Absolute waste of time....genetic testing co pay follow up co pay who knows what else they would have added! Definitely felt long terms meds being PUSHED! AND as I sat in the reception area another patient was at the window and had request more meds and there was NO privacy we heard what she needed how much and everything else that was discussed! VERY VERY disappointing!

I wouldn't come back here. I went in because of huge trouble focusing, racing thoughts, zoning out mid conversation etc etc. Anyways, I walked out of there within a half hour after a first time visit with a prescription for depression and panic attacks. Neither of which I have. At all. In any way. So needless to say, I will not be putting myself on a medication that doesn't apply to me nor will I be going back to this place. I'd rather find someone who will take the time to actually help me out instead of writing random prescriptions.
