Provided by YP.comI tried Downtown Pizza about a month ago with my family and absolutely loved it! My husband and all the kids thought it was delicious! We have been ordering about once a week since - love it for the Packer games! I have been telling all my friends and family about it. There isn't pizza like this around here that's for sure. You can tell that it is fresh and that the crust is homemade. The kids love watching the employees make the pizza also. It's a fun, friendly atmosphere and I am so glad they are around, because my family was giving up on pizza places for a while!!

Provided by YP.comWe have ordered pizza here twice, with groupons (the only way its affordable, due to outrageous prices on their menu). Both were negative experiences. The first time we called our order in for pickup, we showed up at the time we were given and still ended up waiting another 30 minutes for our pizza.
The second time, and this takes the cake, we ordered delivery at 9:45 pm last friday- a true test of a restaurant, ordering 15 minutes before close. The girl on the phone was rude, as if 9:45 was waaay too late to order a pizza on a friday and this was a huuuge inconvienience for her. The pizza took its standard 45 minutes and a delivery girl brought it to the door. Seeming a little tipsy herself, while I was filling out the credit card receipt she proceeded to blurt out "I know you are going to give me a FATTY tip for coming out this late". I was so shocked and offended by her demanding a large tip that I didnt know what to say. Someone that out of touch with what is acceptable behavior in the service industry doesnt even deserve an explanation. Bottom line, if you want to close at 930, then close at 930. Otherwise you need to give the same level of service to the customer that walks in at 9:55 as the one than that walks in at 5:15.
Furthermore, the pizza was average at best, despite its extreme overpricing. Both were just a mess of cheese and grease. Downtown pizza, you are not doing us a favor by being there, start treating your customers like you need them and not the other way around. The girl that answers the phone is rude and has a horrible attitude and that delivery girl should be fired immediately. Theres much better pizza places in the cedarburg/grafton area. My suggestion is to go to Tomaso's instead, waaay better pizza, waaaay better prices and atmosphere

Provided by YP.comOur family has ordered pizzas from DP several times. We're always more than happy with what we get. The prices are higher than most, but it's the best pizza we've had in town. We enjoy a number of the specialty pizzas, particularly the pot pie and caprese pizzas, but we've also liked the meat lovers and cheese pizzas. The sauce and crust are very good! When we're done, we feel comfortably full, not grease-filled or groggy. We've had fast and friendly service every time, and it's entertaining to see the pizzas being made from scratch.

Provided by YP.comI ordered from this place today and it was horrible!!! First off, when the pizza came and we opened it the pizza didn't have any toppings on it! They were all pushed off to the side!! They looked pathetic. Second, when we were eating it we found a COUGH DROP in it!! It was the most digusting thing ever! We called downtown pizza and told them we wanted our money back. They sent the delivery boy back and he had many excuses and a very bad attitude. The lady who took our order did not provide good customer service at all and she had a very snobby attitude. The delivery boy was not any better, he was full of pathetic excuses and a horrible attitude. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!!! Horrible customer service and even worse pizza!
I am a proud representative/management of Downtown Pizza, a brand new family owned home style pizzeria with high morale, great fresh food, and an excellent workstaff with precise execution! I love where I work and bringing happy customers a meal they won't forget. I remember coming to work last Thursday, we open at 4:00 pm on Thursdays and it was 3:30. Jeremy was already happily making four pizzas to deliver before we even opened that day. Jeremy is definitely one of my favorite cooks of all time! He shows a lot of compassion, care, and generosity in EVERY pizza. He helps to separate a Downtown Pizza from just any pizza by really caring for all orders individually and not just work as a whole, which makes him better than the average hard worker. My boss, Daryl, too, who has spent so much time working and traveling to create unique, delicious, and homemade pizza dough and sauce, homemade sauces and recipes(like the alfredo, jerk, pesto, etc.) Even the dressings for salads on the menu are homemade, and don't forget a homemade chicken pot pie pizza. Daryl has shown stunning amounts of hard work, effort, and individuality. Not to mention building, designing and decorating the restaurant with family and friends literally from the ground up! So anyways, Jeremy was happy to take an order before we opened that day. He created four delicious, vibrant pizzas and delivered them personally to another local business for a party. When I received a phone call that the pizzas were "pathetic" (they were good pieces of work, not pathetic), I called Jeremy immediately on his cell, and he turned around right away to go talk to the party host and see what had possibly gone wrong. When he had arrived, there were not four pizzas (9 minutes later) but down to just over one pizza, with plenty of people happy to be eating their pizzas!! Jeremy was even polite to ask, "Hey guys! How's the pizza!" They said great and gave him a thumbs up!! However, the party host had a completely different portrayal of the meal. She held up a clean, half eaten cough drop and said it was IN the pizza. Ok, well our first impression was that you still have about 20 people who were somehow not disgusted with that?! They did not have any problems eating any of the pizza for a meal, if that were the case, at least a few should've been grossed out and not happy with their dinner it was just odd. I would've probably puked! But the second point was that any cough drop would not possibly stand a chance of surviving an oven of 600+ degrees, or would've not been easily and cleanly picked off a pizza! Not possible! And lastly, we have in-store cameras closely fixed on the entire pizza station at all times, and reviewing these we were able to conclude that this was not the case. Still, we ended up giving them all four pizzas free (yes that's how you get a free meal folks) but then the party host was aggressively demanding four more pizzas! We were glad to either replace the pizzas with 4 more, or not charge them for the first four, very flexible working something out. But it would be hard to ask someone for four new pizzas after eating four and getting eight pizzas for free! We were also told the pizzas were uneven, sloppy, pathetic, a lot of name calling. However since we showed up to fix the problem instead of calling back, we were able to clearly determine that the pizzas were just as great as any other pizza we could possibly make. So cj1235 we are truly sorry for your experience here, but I know there was a lot of TLC put into your meal and if there was ever a problem, we were definitely willing to help you solve it. To future customers? Come see for yourself! There's a magic happening here, a one of a kind dining experience combined with a fresh homemade cuisine that has been inspired by many and inspired even more. We love our little restaurant and will continue to share our passion with meals you can taste it in. (Grand Opening Coming Soon!)

Provided by YP.comMy boyfriend and I went here for the first time today. We thought the place had great decor and atmosphere with an extensive menu. However, our pizza arrived luke-warm at best and after a couple slices we realized the sausage was raw and hoped we hadn't eaten any uncooked pieces. When we took it back to the counter, we were offered a gift certificate to compensate. We declined saying we really didn't want to come back, and asked for a refund on our pizza which we were given. We will stick to John's Pizza from now on.
