Southern Middle School is affiliated with the Alamance-Burlington Schools that also operates other elementary, middle and high schools. The school provides education to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It has a parent-teacher organization that provides support and assistance to school by organizing various fundraising events and activities. The school offers a wide range of academic subjects, such as art, computer technology, math, social studies, science, language arts, career technical education, English and physical education. It provides various athletics and activities to students, including art, band, cheerleading, chorus, football, softball, basketball and cross country. Southern Middle School is located in Graham, N.C.
