As a full time volunteer, I could not want to give my time anywhere else. Every bit of time makes a difference and it's an honor to watch the students and families grow, to enjoy life and live freely - able to enjoy typical family outings now that their children have learned better coping, understanding and conversation skills. Truly blessed to be a part of this organization.

What a wonderful resource for the people of Hood County and the surrounding area! As a local special education teacher, Lake Pointe offers resources and training that I can access for my own career development and recommend to parents in our community. The driving forces behind this Academy and Resource Center are amazing people with a real passion for kids and families in need of support. They are an inspiration and blessing in this town!

Until now, families have had no choice but to drive to Ft. Worth or further for educational and support services for children on the autism spectrum/adhd/etc. Lake Pointe is dedicated to increasing access to needed services in Hood county and the surrounding areas, to lessen the burden in traveling and strengthen Granbury's community in serving these special needs.
