After nearly 3 years of living at Grand Oak Apt in Grand Blanc complaint free, I received a letter from Group 5 Mgmt Co earlier today, 8/24, conveniently dated 8/4 advising that if we do not pay the September rent within 14 days from the date of the letter this would be transferred to collections. The lease very clearly states on page 2 under Premature Term the following: "Resident's liability to pay rent in the event of premature termination of the lease SHALL CONTINUE until the premises are re-rented or this lease expires." The lease also states there will be a late charge assessed after the 4th of the month. With that said, THEY are breaking the lease if they send this to collections prior to 9/5. I'm also irritated that I was told by the Grand Oak staff that there would be no issues renting out our apartment due to demand. They would also make it a priority. Conveniently for them, here we are 6 weeks later and the apartment is still vacant. Very disappointing end...

The office staff was really bad with us when we sign the application they said the deposit is 200$ refundable and 262$ non refundable for townhous and when i back to sign the contract they said the 200$ refundable and 262$ non refundable for each person live in townhous so they need more than 920$ just a deposit
