Provided by YP.comI have been a Midwest Pools customer for over 20 years. They installed a fiberglass pool for me and have always serviced it. I have always known them to be helpful, fair and honest. The service crews are experienced, respectful and courteous.
Here is an example of my most recent experience:
I received a phone call from the Service Tech Supervisor, Antonio, at 7PM on the day of my pool opening. He stated that the crew scheduled to open my pool was behind and was two hours away from my location. He immediately apologized repeatedly for the scheduling conflict. To my amazement he then said he would be at my home within the hour to open the pool. I told him it was going to be dark soon, but he insisted on opening my pool. He arrived well past normal work hours.
Antonio could have simply told me on the phone that the opening would have to be another day, but he did not. We all have personal lives besides work. Plus, I’m sure he was tired and wanted to call it a day, but he helped out a customer. Thank you Antonio!

Provided by YP.comI am vey satisfied customer. Scott returned all my calls or texts, his workers were on time and did a thorough job. I had a crack in the deep end of my fiberglass pool and waited for 2 months for this other pool company to fix.. I was tired of waiting and i called Midwest and they had their repairman at my house the very next day. They fixed it immediately and i only wish I had called them from the start. I will not have another pool company take care of my pool.. Thanks Scott and Midwest

Provided by YP.comBy far, the WORST company in Michigan. You will spend an astronomical amount of money and be left with garbage, no honor of their warranty and no response to fix their ridiculously incompetent work. They will blame every unknown employee, tell you they are fired, but the reality is they have no pride in their work. They know their contractors are awful and slap together the cheapest, faulty work. After they make you wait almost a year for a job they promised would be done in a few weeks. You feel so happy to finally have it done, after all you have to pay them up front. Until the concrete crack, pipes break, coping falls off, etc. The amateur job starts to show and your left holding a massive repair bill from another contractor. Once you hand them that cashier check, you have to beg them to finish, and then you will never see them again. They won't even take your calls when everything is falling apart.

Provided by YP.comThank you Midwest! Your crews were awesome and very quick! Everyone was so polite even though we asked way too many questions. Thank you for making our dreams come true! We purchased the Michigan made Leading Edge Traverse Bay and love it!
We have now had our pool since May and I we absolutely love it! Midwest thank you so much for making our summer a memorable one! Everyone that has been to our home has been very courteous and polite, we have already recommended Your company to everyone we can! Thank you! Thank you!

Provided by YP.comWe love our pool BUT I would recommend to anyone buying a pool from Midwest to steer clear of the tile. This is the 10th year for our pool and overall the experience was good...BUT THE TILE IS AWFUL. It was poor quality tile and is now all chipped and looks awful. We paid quite a bit extra to have it added to our package. We contacted Midwest several years back about it and they replaced only A FEW and basically said "sorry for your luck". You may ask" why write a review now?"...well I just came in from scubbing all that chipped tile...that's why!!

Provided by YP.comstay clear of this company , i never write reviews but just had to on this one. 2011 they installed a pool during installations they made me pay 3 times for extra things one of extra top soil. once for some type of rock before you pour the concrete . then the guy who came to give me a quote measured wrong to the gas line and they wanted an extra 1500. they finally gave me a electric heating unit that ended up costing me 400 extra . here is my thoughts you send your people out you give me a price , that is the price for you to put in a pool begining to end , the only thing they told me might be extra was pea gravel and they didnt end up needing more . since the pool installations i have had some problems with the chlorine feeder and filter which was destroyed by them while pouring the concrete , do you think they return phone calls , i have had to be on top of them calling them repeatedly, they do not return calls. would i recommend this company to anyone absolutely not. stay far away , they do not know what service is .

Provided by YP.comI used Midwest Pool to service a crack in my San Juan fiberglass pool. The work was repeatedly delayed later into the summer season. When the work was completed it was far less than satisfactory. The finish was rough and unsightly. Midwest failed to use a suitable base material under the repair (they actually dug up dirt from the woods adjacent to my home to fill-in under the repaired area). Although their service technicians blamed a leak at the underwater light for the crack, they failed to fix the light.
Their defense for all of these short-comings is that they did not charge me as much as originally estimated. Therefore, I should except a sub-par repair job rather than the work that they originally were commissioned to do.

Provided by YP.comThank you Midwest pools and my sales man for teaching me all about inground pools. I am a first time pool owner so I didn't know what to expect. After my sales man Jerry Kukla left I think I knew more about swimming pools then the typical pool owner. My pool was put in the ground this spring and the project is already done. It only took them 15 days from the first day of digging the pool to closing out the pool and doing my final. I know its early in the season so I don't know if there really quick or if its not as busy now. The workmanship was unbeatable!!!! My best friend has a pool and she is sooo jealous we went with a fiberglass pool and she has an inground liner ( I hope she doesn't read this love you if you do) Midwest wasn't the cheapest but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. I couldn't be more pleased. The staff was friendly and the workers who came out were very professional. If you are thinking about putting a swimming pool in your back yard this company did GREAT work and would be my first choice again!!!
Thanks
Candice
