Patio World doesn't know how to build flower gardens!

I hired Patio World (Opp Construction) to make me two flower beds this spring. The agreement was they would surround them with retaining wall blocks, work up the soil, add peat and landscaping cloth, plant various plants and spread them with mulch. The agreed upon price was $900 for the entire job.

After they finally did get around to doing the job the landscaping blocks were very poorly installed. They left big gaping wedges in between them. The morons didn't have a clue apparently that the blocks are finished with two faces and are supposed to be alternated for straight runs and inside curves, etc. I complained and they sent out a crew to cut the blocks and give them a better finished look.

The plants they planted for me are the smallest crappiest looking plants. They didn't do anything but scrape off the sod and plant them in the hard clay! No landscaping cloth, no soil preparation, nothing.

Patio World should not be in the business of making flower beds! If I wasn't partially disabled, I would have discovered the problems earlier and not paid them until it was done right. I was a victim of their scammer operation.

Don't hire them to do flower gardens for you! They don't have any idea what is necessary.
