Our large family recently moved to Grand Island, NY and we naturally went to the only grocery store in town: Tops Friendly Market! The moment we went in and saw the prices, we couldn’t believe what we saw! The prices were so incredibly high on everything in the store from milk and bread to fruits and vegetables. We ended up buying milk and decided to never come back to that store again. Those guys at Tops have taken monopoly and greed to a new level.

Do yourselves a favor and stay away from Tops. Other stores right off the island are much more reasonably priced. How can a town of over 22,000 people have only one grocery store?? We came from a town of 10,500 people, and yet there are two large grocery stores

In any case, we are contacting several grocery stores such as Wegmans and Aldi and asking them to consider opening stores in Grand Island.
