The wife& i went their for the first time yesterday (wed). the price is discounted during the week and also cheaper when using cash, they bring the waverunners to the dock for you so there is wading thru the surf, the owners there are are very helpful and pleasant, their is also a jet boat on site for assistance. I would go back very fun.

This place is lame indeed. By looking at the website you'd think that the place would be great. But once you go there, you find a small cottage (run as an office), 3 anchored jets, 1 old couple (who runs the place), 1 helper and lots of disappointment. Firstly, this place isn't cheap. Its almost $100 with taxes for an hour. Its by Niagara river which is very wavy specially with speed boats going by. They will ask you to walk in the water, for about 200 feet and then reach the anchored jet skis. By walking, I mean wading through the dirty water and rocky bottom where you can easily hurt your feet. "Oh, you'll get wet anyway, so just walk though the water to get to the boats" was the excuse. Then, after that they will repeated tell you to go towards the middle of the river where the tides and the waves were at the highest. According to them, you can "damage the bottom of the jet ski if you drive close to shore". Ridiculous. Above everything, the place is unsafe. If you are not an experienced jet skier, and if you tumble to water, these guys don't have a rescue plan. By the time they grab another jet ski (if available), and come to you, you might be miles away in the direction of eternal peace.
