I have often heard the name Alterations by Kim so I set up an appointment for one of my Bridesmaids to see Kim and see what alterations might be possible. My bridesmaid is 5 months pregnant so we knew we would need make alterations for her future baby bump. I explained this to Kim over the phone and she seemed up for it. It turns out when my bridemaid went to the appointment Kim was not friendly at all. My friend felt rushed and Kim even told her that she would just have to get a whole new dress because it obviously wouldn't work for her and gave her the impression that she was wasting her time. She didn't even have my friend try on her dress. My bridesmaid left the appt almost in tears and feeling very uncomfortable. I have not seen the work by Alterations by Kim but the professionalism displayed was horrific and I feel terrible that I set up the disaster of an appt. We did find a different alteration who was very friendly and she inserted a corset in my friends dress with no problem at all....yes the same dress is what she will be wearing.
