Popeye is hands down the best tattooist on the west coast. He is crazy fast but clean. Wonderfully creative and has a passion for his work. He is very professional and listens to what you want in a tattoo and helps you create a detailed work of body art. If you want outstanding body art go see popeye he's the best out there.

Speed is not synonymous for quality when you're talking about a TATTOO THAT WILL BE THERE FOREVER. I'm sure that Popeye is capable of great work, but I certainly didn't go home with any. My best friend and I went in for a matched set and he clearly decided we weren't worth his time (did I mention the Slight lack of respect for women??) and just carved out a half-assed picture on us both then shuffled us out the door. Will NOT ever be going near Atlantis Tattoo again.

there such a concern to other shops they dont like hios ability to do 5 times the work win awards and this shop raises the bar in tattooing if you want serious art and a iron clad guarantee ( whers thiers?) over 30 years way longer than most have been alive recomend this artist this shop .. 100%

I have been nearly covered with tattoos from popeye, competed them all across the country, won awards at all of them(none less than second), been complimented to by the who's who of tattoo artists including names like Kerry barba and Paul booth, made savage magazine multiple times, newspapers, headline news in Colorado and salt lake city Utah, and was featured on good morning America. He's the real deal. If you're a hater, don't go. It's that simple. But if you want a tattoo to be proud of, atlantis tattoo is the best around.

this place is the real deal many reviews have been written by magazines and news papers and understandably upsets those lesser artists that constantly worry about atlantis dont take my word go in and see for your self be prepaired there very onthe ball artsey and full of ideas..
