I went there to hire her for my case and she said the other side didn't have a case and what needed to be done with the court, I could do. She didn't
want to waste my money. I really appreciate her honesty!

I wish I could give this woman No stars. She is my ex-wife's attorney. We are in a custody battle. We have a court date set, but she keeps filing motions to change the current custody before the court can hear our case. I.e. she likes to run up excessive legal fees without providing any positive results. If you hire her, she will be aggressive, but plan on your legal fees being 2-3 times what you would pay another equally competent lawyer.

Vet's Beware! She will lie and use old medical records to call you every name under the sun. Burkey will slander your name and call vets abusers. She does not put the children first and foremost. My ex wife never claimed abuse or anything like that till Burkey was her attorney.

one of the worst people i have ever dealt with. does not take the child into consideration. her only motive is to eliminate one parent or the other, and drain your pockets. although i left a star, it represents -10 stars.

For custody issues, she's the best of the best. But not knowledgeable about business, finance, etc. such as dividing a business in a divorce or proving net worth. Also, very expensive, but if custody is the issue, she's worth every cent.
