In 1987, we moved to the Grand Valley and started the Woodstove Warehouse selling, servicing, and installing wood burning stoves. In 1990, we saw a need and opportunity in the valley for a chimney sweep. We sold the store and started sweeping full-time while still installing for the new owners of the Woodstove Warehouse as well as other stove retailers on the Western Slope. In 1995, I became a member of the National Chimney Guild and past the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) certification test and shortly thereafter became a licensed contractor.

Having been a sweep for over 20 years I have seen many advances in the technology, of both the stoves and the equipment to service them. Because of the constant evolution of the industry it has required that we continue to educate ourselves on the most modern equipment and techniques to service and protect our clients. I have made it my mission to provide these services in both a professional and affordable manner. I realize that you put your trust in me to keep your home safe. I take that charge very seriously. Western Colorado is my home too, and I like my neighbors.
