Hilltop's Life Adjustment Program was created in 1985 in response to growing residential needs for traumatic brain injury survivors. The program is home to more than 70 adults, and serves those who otherwise cannot successfully be independent in the community. It assists individuals who need medical support, medication administration, money management, cognitive and memory problem solving, insight into judgment issues, and behavioral supportive management. Amenities available at the facility include, one- to three-bedroom apartments, kitchenettes with microwaves, cupboards, and small refrigerators, daily meals, laundry and housekeeping, medication management, individualized 24-hour care, and transportation to and from medical appointments. Hilltop's Life Adjustment Program is located in Grand Junction, Colo.
