Provided by YP.comI have been going to Redstone vet clinic for quite a few years now. However since they have become Banfield they have become a money-hungry conglomerate. My dogs had an unfortunate incident where they got into vitamins. I had to take two small dogs to the emergency vet at night. The next day Redstone did get me in. I had done blood test at the emergency vet to find starting liver levels. Redstone retested these levels but got the blood work confused and told me that my other dog also needed to be on medicine. When I came back a week later to test, of course, the blood level appeared to have switched again as they had the correct animals labeled this time. They charged me for medicine and bloodwork and put a dog on medicine that did not need it because they got there blood work confused. They also had not changed this in their records and I had to argue with them that I did not want a healthy dog on medicine, or to continue to pay for blood test he did not need since they had gotten it wrong in the beginning. I have had to test my 2 dogs every week for 4 weeks and have been charged around $80 for each blood test, plus exams. However the last time I went I suddenly find out that they can only test for the liver level that they needed to each time and that that is actually only a $30 charge. I have been charged a hundreds of extra dollars when they were doing a full test and could have just been testing for one item or they had just been entering it wrongly in the invoice charge . The last time I went in was told it would be $80 for the drop off and test and when I picked my dog up the bill was actually $140!
I would like to note that the staff has been nothing but friendly however I do feel that money is their main priority and client care has really been lost. I will no longer be using Redstone vet as banfield.
