Evaluation for Venous Insufficiency and Varicose Veins.

Evaluation for venous Insufficiency begins with a diagnostic ultrasound of your legs. This is sometimes referred to as an ultrasound “mapping” of your legs. This is a painless procedure that involves using ultrasound waves to view the veins in the legs. At Vincent Vein Center, we provide a very thorough ultrasound evaluation of the legs, which includes taking multiple ultrasound images of the deep veins and superficial veins of the legs and evaluating the movement of the blood in your veins. The evaluation also includes a thorough medical history and physical examination. The information collected from this evaluation is used to determine an individualized treatment plan for each of our patients at Vincent Vein Center.
