Musty smell / Black Mold in shower / Dirty

Warning do not stay here! The room on one side had several guys carrying in cases of beer and hunting rifles; the room on the other side of us had a hunter with several dogs. The room was tiny with an old tube TV and the carpet felt sticky. There was a “very strong” aroma of disinfectant that didn’t work well in covering the strong musty odor, black mold was in the tiny shower area. We politely told the owner Robert that it really didn’t work out for us and we wouldn’t be staying, he went into a rage and was actually screaming and yelling at us at the top of his lungs that he held the room for us and had to turn people away, please note were only 4 vehicles in the lot and his vacancy sign was still on. We left and went to the West Gate Inn, the difference was night and day and the stay for the night was the same cost. Yes we paid Robert for the night we didn’t stay there but it was worth the price to get out of there.
