Provided by YP.comWe hired "professional" party planner to cater our wedding and found them to be anything but professional or ethical. We were quoted one price in a face to face meeting and we asked for contracts NUMEROUS times. We were told that they do not do contracts. We went ahead and hired Theresa Barcy anyway because she was referred by a family member. After asking NUMEROUS times for a taste test of the food, we finally got our taste test three days before our wedding! The food did not meet the description and turned out to be a recipe off the back of a Campbells soup can (I know because my mom has been making it since I was in the first grade). At this point, we had no choice. On the day of the wedding the food that was served was not what was ordered. The bill was taken to my parents as they were helping with some of the expense. My father, not knowing that there would be a discrepency, paid the bill... WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE DOUBLE WHAT WE WERE QUOTED. After eight months of marriage, we have posted reviews on the internet after seeking a refund for months. We have reached out to Theresa several times and had NO response. Finally, in April, Theresa with "professional" party planner, agreed to give us a refund if we removed our reviews (at that time, we were the only reviews on Yahoo). She told my wife that she would pay us the first week of May. May has come and gone. Finally she said that she would issue our refund in June. We have been strung along for months. My wife and I decided to present her with a deadline (Today). This deadline was given yesterday. My wife finally got her on the phone today and Theresa agreed to meet. She said that she would call back in an 1.5 hours to discuss when and where... seven hours later we have no returned phone call, no returned text messages. Nothing. She will say that this is a case of "Buyers Remorse" as she did THE LAST TIME WE REVIEWED HER. You're damn right it's remorse... I wish I would have never met this woman or had anything to do with this unethical person, unprofessional "party planner". If you like getting ripped off, hire this company. If you value your money don't walk, RUN away!!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comI hired this company to cater my wedding. They would not give us a contract or a written quote despite asking several times. I hired the company at least a year in advance of my wedding but the lady didn't get around to giving us the food to taste test until the week before the wedding. They were well aware that they were supposed to submit a copy of their license to my venue by a certain deadline. Despite many calls and emails, they still missed the deadline. On the day of the wedding, she served food that did not fit the description of what was agreed upon, then gave my in-laws a bill for a couple grand more than what we were verbally quoted and received payment from them without my knowing. Despite asking for a refund, we got NOTHING to make up for it.
