I want to first say that my home is beautiful. However that is all that I thank first texas homes for. We are extremely disappointed with the construction, customer care and management. Our home was built very poorly, nails and screws hanging out, windows have draft, drywall is cracking, calking is not complete or done properly, floors are not screwed down and make noise when walking in some areas, Did not complete things that were suppose to be done including wiring. We were also suppose to have wood where they put carpet. They did not fix their mistake but wanted to charge us for their problem. We have had ants EVERYWHERE in our new home- And we have only lived here for 6 weeks!!! Pest control has been in our home every week we have lived here. Ants on counters, on walls, on floor, in carpet- around my children. First ant problem was blamed on -ants coming in when the sod was laid. This does not seem to be the case because we have had everywhere sprayed and they still are coming. They have now said that they where here on the ground when the house was built and has been living in our walls!

We will never build a home with First Texas again nor would we recommend their service.
