Provided by YP.comDon't walk away from this guy, RUN! Mike Hill(the owner) is the biggest lying shyster in the world. He supposedly rebuilt the engine in my Saturn and all was good until the head gasket started leaking oil about a year later. I took it back to him, under warranty, to have the head gasket replaced. The first time I took it back, they "put dye in the oil" to find the source of the leak and told me to bring it back in a week. I brought it back. They did nothing but drive my car around. Their excuse was that they were moving their shop, which they did. It's no longer in the ghetto anymore. When I got my car home I looked and the head gasket had not been changed, but there were several hundred mile put on my car. I returned the car to this a$$hole for the third time. This time the head gasket was replaced, but the car ran like sh!t. I finally made it home. I popped the hood to find the engine leaking coolant and oil all over the driveway and another 350 miles on my car. I called Mike Hill and let him have it. He offered to come tow the car back to his shop and make it right. Against my better judgement, I allowed him to come get it. I have my car back after two week. the coolant leak was reduced but not stopped. His solution to the oil leak was to smear RTV silicone all over. He was nice enough to deliver it to my house with another 1000+miles on it. WTF?
This company, and specifically, Mike Hill, the owner, have no business touching anyone's car. Don't believe all his BULLSH!T lies and sorry a$$ excuses.
Now I will have to pay someone to fix my car right.

Provided by YP.comThey Originally stated that my engine would be done in a week, 2 tops. I was ok with that. I gave the owner a cash deposit as he asked to go buy parts. 2 weeks went, I stopped to pick my car up to discover they have never started the work. After questioning the owner gave me all the excuses in the world. He PROMISED they were pulling it in the shop tonight and he would have the motor out in the morning. That Monday I stopped back to discover that my car was no longer there. The owner was standing outside all mad because the cops just gave all the cars in the street a parking ticket. I demanded to know where my car was and upon the owner stuttering and playing stupid, he finally admitted that he had his tow guy bring it to a shop he works with to have the engine removed. After further investigation I found the car at some guys house being worked on in the driveway. (Division and 60th area dead in street behind Napa) Oh by the way when I did find my car there was about 6 people all drinking beer standing around my car. Well it gets better. When I drove back on Friday to look at my car it was GONE again. I stopped back at Elite Engine and asked how my engine was coming and the owner had more excuses on why he did not have the motor. I wanted to know why my car keeps being moved from shop to shop. The axxhole owner had no answer, just kept saying, “I am sorryyyyyy” Well I tracked my car to 3 more shops during the next 4 months. My car also was ticketed at an earlier time, and they just took the ticket off my car and never told me about it. I received a 90 day notice in the mail with the late fees and everything. When I went down to Elite to collect the money, he denied ever knowing, he stated that he don’t have all the money and gave me $20.00 bucks. He then had the NERVE to ask me, well does this help you out, LIKE HE IS DOING ME A FAVOR… GO Fxxx YOURSELF! Well he gave me the $20.00 I seen a small stack of other parking tickets laying on the desk. He stated to me to stop back, “Tomorrow” and he would have the rest of the money. I stopped back three times, at his stated time, just to discover that he just left for an emergency. How Many emergencies can you have!?!? Now that I have my car back it has giving me nothing but problems. I have just recently discovered (through an employee that no longer works there) that it appears that the owner just went and got a used engine and painted it real nice and installed it in my car.
Well I verified that my engine sure enough was a used one that was painted and installed. I plan on taking him to court. When I was there I discovered that he is no stranger to Wyoming courts. If you are looking to have your vehicle moved from shop to shop, just to have a bunch of clowns, (not as bad as the owner) give you every excuse in the world as to why they cannot complete the job, Then Elite Engine is for you. If you want to get a surprise parking ticket in the mail, then Elite Engine is for you! If you want to keep chasing the owner down to collect money that he stated he would refund you, then Elite Engine is for you. If you want to walk into a shop and get into the center of a huge fight that is going on between employees then Elite Engine is for you. If you want to have the owner lie to you bye stating that your car is not done, just to discover that he was using it for a week as his personal vehicle, then Elite Engine is for you. If you want to have your car returned to you with an EMPTY tank of gas, and 624 more on your vehicles odometer than Elite Engine is for you. I had to give this a star just to rate this place. WHAT A JOKE ELITE ENGINES IS

Provided by YP.comNEVER NEVER NEVER! These guys are the best liars, I had them switch out a engine in my car to be completed in three days for $650 and all is well? $700, 14 days, plus $50 for tow truck back to my house because my car still didn't run also wires hanging everywhere pieces broken. Then said that I would have to start paying the regular hourly rate for them to finish the job they were already in FULL for. TOTAL SCAM! I had to give them a star to submit this.

Provided by YP.comI had a bad experience with Elite in Wyoming, MI. First, they were more than a week late in getting my vehicle completed. They damaged my radiator while removing my engine and ordered me a new one. Unfortuantely, they replaced my $300 3-core radiator with a cheap $100 replacment. When I pointed it out, they told me they would get my old radiator repaired and install it for free...but 2 weeks later nobody could find my old radiator, and they shop they were going to send it to never recieved it. Also, a week later in March (when we had the warm 90+ degre days), my jeep overheated for the first time in 5 years (due to the smaller radiator).
When I drove off the lot the engine was not running properly. Under closer inspecition I found a vacuum line that they never hooked back up. I hooked it back up and it ran much better.
When I did a look-thru on my engine when I got it home, I noticed one of the engine mount bolts was not even used. They obviously forgot to put it in. I had it back in the shop the next week and they repaired it.
To top it all off, I got a notice from the city of wyoming that I had an unpaid parking ticket. Apparently my vehicle was ticketed while in front of their shop for illegal parking (while they had the vehicle and were supposed to be working on it). They must have taken the ticket and thrown it in the trash and never told me about it. Another $50 wasted.
I would never use Elite engines again. The quality of the engine rebuild seems good, but everything else about the company is unacceptable. They seem like they are trying to do a good job, but unfortunately they are not. You would be best served to spend more money and take it elsewhere.
