Provided by YP.comI read a lot of these poor reviews and noticed they were primarily for issues of timeliness with bigger problems. My issues were smaller and come down to trust and deception. Initially I came to Frank (owner) because my friend referred me. He offered me a price that couldn't be matched anywhere else I checked. For about 2 years I continued visiting him. Eventually the prices were going higher and higher, and I just paid because I trusted the guy. Well, after he charged me 250 dollars to replace a 5 dollar plastic part that took less then an hour I became suspicious. I did some research and say he charged me double for the part, that would be $10, plus an hour of labor which we will just say is $60. That would come out to $70 for the repair. I called him and confronted him and he admitted it. Frank told me that he would refund me the difference (he never did, when I called he always said they don't have cash on hand). His excuse was that he didn't double check his math. The number one thing I look for in a mechanic is trust. He took advantage of me and could possibly take advantage of you. I am being 100% honest when I tell you this truly did happen to me. Be cautious before you visit Mcphersons auto

Provided by YP.comThis guy is a joke. The owner has his friends and associates, whom have no certified mechanics license to perform the work on your car,I had a motor rebuild done in July 2012 and have been taking my truck back and forth every since. By end of August 2012, a blown head gasket. When they put in my motor, they scratched the paint off the front of my truck and he still hasn't paid for it. I have had my rear wiper squirter stolen off the back window, a running board clip broken off due to them jacking my truck under the running board. I just had my alternator stolen out of the shop, as he was performing the service on my blown head gasket. The excuses I can't find good work right now. He is the only licensed mechanic, if that is true. My head gasket job took two weeks and my motor rebuild a month and three weeks. He has the nerve to mention the $200 I still owe on the engine rebuild while I have over $600 in damages and stolen parts off of my truck. This man and his shop is a joke. My truck ran better before they touched it, since his work, I have been doing nothing but reworking his damage and failures, on top of additional issues he created.

Provided by YP.comStay away from them. Took over two months for him to repair our transmission. Two times picked it up and didn't even make it home. Third time it worked for a week. He won't refund our money and won't repair it either. This is definitely the worst garage I have ever dealt with in my life.
