A wonderful place to grow your faith in the living Lord Jesus Christ and his gospel.

Great place to go for Christian Sunday worship. Friendly people and environment, wonderful gospel teaching and inspiring messages.

I'm sorry Pirish but you do have it wrong. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not involved in politics. However, the Catholic church did in fact use funds to promote the defeat of Prop 8, and all the LDS church did was to support the fundamental family unit by not supporting the proposition. But the LDS church does not get into politics, only teaches Christ's correct principles, and I find this honorable.



As for my personal thoughts, I believe that the LDS church teaches these principals quite well, as the Lord's teachings never change with times, thus the teachings of the LDS church tend to be most consistent and unchanging. I also am quite pleased by the great friendlessness and compassion. I believe that their focus on charity and service is admirable but the way they do it with such great joy is truly the way the Lord would have it. Isn't that what it is all about? I find great peace from attendance here and would recommend anyone looking for true gospel principles and the peace of the Holy Spirit, this is the place to look in my humble opinion.



And Pirish, I would personally invite you to attend the church prior to making judgements. I think you'll find it a little different than you thought if you actually attend before making a judgement. I think you'll find it a lot more wonderful that your preconceived notion. God bless you and yours my friend.
