call at 1:09 and still no cab at 2:44. would not give me a time the cab would be here. they suck. still waiting at 3:00 no cab.

Not only did we call and wait for over an hour to get a cab, but when I called to ask what had happened and if they had an estimate on the time, they basically treated me like I was stupid and said "Well, I don't know if I don't know." Needless to say, I will be finding another cab service.

Never before have I seen such a perfect blend of incompetence and maladjustment in a single business.



I had 2 experiences with Yellow Cab, both of which were horrendous. Never again.



I called at 9am to get a cab for 4pm that day. The first time I call, the woman on the phone hung up on me. The second time I call, the woman was obviously distracted and rumbling into the phone, making it hard to understand her. The cab arrived, but was over 40 minutes late. The cab driver grabbed my bag off my arm and literally threw it in the back seat. Imagine that for a second. Someone grabbing the strap of your purse and pulling your purse off your arm and throwing it in their car. No apology for lateness, no excuse me before grabbing at me. On top of that, paying the cab was a 15 minute process, as he had difficulty making change AND a difficulty calling in a credit card. No method was safe.



The second time I attempted to use the online registration system. There is no point to this system. You enter all the information, send it over, get a confirmation email that they recieved your order...and you have to call them immediately after using the online system to 'confirm,' which consists of repeating everything you just entered online to a woman on the phone who you can barely understand, who is hardly listening to you. I sign up for a cab to the airport 2 weeks in advance, call to confirm, and was told "it'll be a good idea to call again closer to the time you need the cab." I call 2 days before and talk to a man who claimed to also be the IT guy for the company. Let me transcribe the conversation for you:

"Hello! I signed up for a cab a few weeks ago and I wanted to double-check my reserva--"

"We are not taking any more calls for tonight."

"Okay. This is for 2 days from now, though, and I already-"

"I HEARD you and I don't care, we aren't sending out cabs."

"I signed up online two weeks ago and I was told to call-"

"You should have called when you submitted the request! I know it says that because I coded it myself! Its not my fault you can't read!"

"But I call-"

"I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS IM DONE." (There's more after this but it sounded less like words and more like the screams and howls of a dog with an arrow in its brain.)

To this day I do not know what on earth I said to deserve that kind of treatment, particularly when I did everything I was asked to and was nothing but polite. Screams, insults, and being hung up on by a man who was acting and sounding more like a 12-year old who just got owned on XBox Live rather than a grown adult professional.



Yellow Cab combines unprofessional, rude phone operators with unreliable, late, and incompetent cab drivers, with a bow on top made of a nonsensical online service that wastes everyone's time as much as possible.



You should call Yellow Cab only if your only other option is to bum a ride of Hitler.

I called the Yellow Cab Taxi service at 7:11 AM. I was told by the lady there it was going to be a 15 to 20 minute wait. I was at the McDonalds at the corner of 28th and Michael, going to Eastern and 28th street area., FINALLY at 7:55 AM I was picked up. 24 minutes later, after the 20 minute deadline ..... NEVER NEVER NEVER WILL I CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!!!! Next time I will 'try' Vets Cab service

Alright, I need help. I take a cab to therapy and they have an hour window. The cab was one hour and a half late and my girlfriend called to see where i was at and i told her. After i got off the phone the driver went off on me on how i was just an insurance drive so he didn't get paid and i sat and listened to it, then the driver threatened to kick me out of the car... and the driver kicked me out of the car 2 blocks from home, in my wheelchair, with limited hand use, in a hilly area. To top it off i slammed the door as i was kicked out and the driver said the he would kick my a**. What can I do? my girlfriend called Yellow Cab in grand rapids and talked to the manager (James) and he didn't give a crap. When i called my insurance, they talked to Yellow Cab and said i called the driver a n****r... which wasn't true. What can I do? This seems immoral.

HORRIBLE company and service! First, they were an hour and a half late (an hour was acceptable). Second, the driver overheard the passenger saying he was picked up late and proceeded to rant about how he was an insurance fair and got paid less then regular fairs, that he has to wait a month to get his $10, and on and on. After the rant he said "I should just kick you out"... and he did. Kicked a person in a wheelchair with limited mobility, out in a hilly neighborhood, about 1/4 mile away from the destination. Obviously upset, the door was slammed upon getting out and the driver actually threatened to kick the handicapped persons "a**". When the cab company was called they made no apology or anything. When the insurance company called Yellow cab they said the passenger called the driver a "n****r" (which is a complete lie and was never brought up when I spoke with the manager). This is a terrible company. The manager is a liar and has no concern about his clients. Skip this company, anyone else would be better!

oh yellow cab. no take something else they r very incompetent , tried to take a cab one night at midnight i waited outside for two hours it never showed when i called them back they made excuses about oh were short staffed so it will be 15 20 minutes . still never showed up i would not take them if i were you plus they charge more than other cabs and just the service all around is poor and not good i wouldn't even give them one star if i could avoid it such bull crap i will not be taking it again id rather walk .. that or take the bus ... rant over .. hope people don't get screwed like i did cause that is just bull sh*t

Warning! Do Not rely on this company. Yellow Cab is 100% reliable in their complete unreliableness. Seriously. I have used their "services" five times providing my pick up and drop off destinations a half day in advance. They were late every time. The final time they got the address wrong, but failed to use the call back number that I gave them which they requested for this purpose and clearly I would have been a repeat customer. None of this matters to this Three Stooges Cab Company. They claim they are under new management. You have been warned. They are utterly and hopelessly competent.
