Our team works closely with Elkhart General, Memorial and Beacon Children's Hospital, as well as nationally recognized children's hospitals in Chicago, Indianapolis and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our team of family caregivers will work with you to help you manage your health and wellness through discussion, analysis of your health history and establishment of a long-term care relationship. Our convenient, on-site laboratory is available 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. In addition to our regular care services, we are pleased to offer our MedPoint24 Urgent Care Center for minor medical emergencies that can't wait for an appointment. In the event that you are admitted to a Beacon hospital, some of our physicians utilize the services of hospitalists to ensure you receive the highest quality care while hospitalized. Hospitalists are physicians who are board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine and who oversee the care of hospitalized patients. Do not go here. Unorganized and incompetent scheduling staff. On two separate occasions, I was more than disappointed by this facility. My first bad incident with this clinic, I was scheduled for an appointment, had to wait in the waiting room for almost two hours, was placed in a waiting room for the doctor, where I was forgotten about for another hour and a half until I left the room and sought out staff. Today, I have serious issues with my gallbladder and am in a lot of pain-- I was scheduled to have an appointment at 2:45 pm and upon arrival, I was told my doctor left to deliver a baby-- fine, I understand that. But one would logically surmise that backup staff would be there to take care of me. Nope! Not the case. I've missed a day of work, commuted a half hour in agony, only to be told my doctor wasn't there and there was no doctor that could see me. It's obvious that there's very little logical planning going on with the scheduling system, as I've been the victim of it twice. I will NEVER go there again and I don't recommend it to anyone else either, unless they're a glutton for punishment--then, by all means, make your appointment.
