Wrong treatment

I went there previously with my son and husband. We had had good results. It was hard for us to find a good place for our son to get his hair done, but they had found a way to do it.

Until this last time. We went in there and had to wait 20 minutes because thier computer went down. Their main greeter was on the phone and the 3-4 others ( the ones doing the hair cuts) were standing around staring at the computer.

My son has a disability. He doesnt enjoy having his hair cut and their lack of ability to think beyond getting the computer problem caused him to have a panic attack ( he is 5 years old).

It took them 20 mins or more to get the computer going again and for busineses to resume as normal.

They call my son up and he sheds 2 single tears, but sits in my lap with a little prompting. She says to him " ready to get your hair cut?" because of the wait he said " no haircut". Which he says everytime anyways, but this time he was tearing up a little but not screaming or crying. Just tears.

She then looks at me and says " we will not cut his hair like this. Especially after the morning I have had."

He then started crying. I lost my temper naturally. Yet, they did nothing to rectify it. She could of taken a 10 minute break to cool down, but didnt. AND she also could of asked one of the other hair professionals if they would take us instead. Instead she just said no and moved on.

My son is never going back there and if you have a child with a disability i would advice you to think twice about going to a place where NO ONE stepped up to bat for a young child. They all stood behind the woman like she had done the right thing.

Making a child wait, promising him a haircut, then turning him down is not the right thing to do. EVER!

If you are a parent of a young child dont go here. They dont know how to treat young children. Ignore the sign that says " 10 and under $12" because it is false.

I had better results going to Great Clips and the pricing is the same.

That is where we went after this little fiasco. They gave him a squirt bottle and made him laugh.

No one at Sports Clips cared enough to comfort a child who was having a hard time waiting and getting his haircut.

SO, in closing. BUYER BEWARE here!
