Cultural Homestay International, also known as CHI, is one of the leading student exchange organizations in the world. It is a nonprofit, public benefit organization that has been serving customers since 1980. The organization has a staff of more than 80 full-time and over 300 part-time employees. Cultural Homestay International has nearly 25 offices throughout the United States and Canada. The organization also maintains its presence in Japan and Slovakia. It offers educational and cultural exchange programs that focus on promoting international understanding and goodwill. The organization offers academic, high school placement and work experience programs for more than 200,000 students in over 40 countries. Cultural Homestay International is a member of the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel.
