Warning!

He didn't even greet me and he was rude. He told me "I don't have any of your medical records" but he proceeded to question my health problems over and over. He acted like 33 year olds are always in perfect health, like I'm 33, so I couldn't possibly have any health issues. I told him I'm on an antidepressant for depression and terrible chronic pain, without asking how bad my depression is, he told me I just needed to talk to a therapist and do some walking. I told him I was just diagnosed with Scoliosis and Arthritis in my back, he said I needed to exercise and lose weight. I told him that the antidepressant helps me gain weight but I need it for my depression, he said "you won't gain weight if you don't take it". WOW! He had me in tears, and he treated me like trash. I don't have a high school diploma or GED, he said he's amazed anyone hired me and that I should get more education so I can get a job, he asked me "if I could read? Like pick up a newspaper and read it?". I wish I could give zero stars.

I am traumatized now, I will NEVER go to a psychologist again!



P.S. A psychologist who has no medical records and not a lot of knowledge of someone's history of depression and how bad it can get, tells them in so many words, then don't take your medicine.

This person is a doctor, who is supposed to help you with your problems, not cause more pain.

But it's up to you, I just wanted to let anyone know how he treated ME.
