I went to watch Assassin's Creed on 12/23/2016. I ordered a large popcorn and soda combo. About 10-15 min into the movie I started drinking on my soda and found there was almost no syrup in the soda. I guess I should have just taken it back then, but I wasn't going to miss my movie because some dumb person at the register didn't do their job and check their products. Also I had popcorn I needed the soda for to wash down or I would choke.

Later after the movie when I tried to get some sorta compensation(didn't have to be much) they refused to help. Even the district manager named James refused as well. When I was trying to discuss it further, he refused to listen and hung up on me! I plan on reporting this to the local attorney general, but people need to hear what bad business practices this place has.

management was very rude (i think her name was elysia) and had a dead behind the eyes kind of look. The sound was terrible, the screen was dirty, and the popcorn was cold. I will never go there again...ever.

I've had nothing but trouble seeing movies at Southgate. Their sound system is terrible. You do not hear distinct stereo sound and it's not loud enough. You can't hear the dialog spoken in softer tones. The speakers crackle, you only hear sound from the front screen speaker, never from the side speakers. It's not a theater going experience, but you pay full theater prices. The staff constantly changes . . . the "supervisors" tend to be rude and the rest of the staff just looks back at you with a blank stare when you ask for a simple request like please turn up the sound and get your surround speakers up and running. If you love movies, you'll hate seeing them here. Drive further to Tinseltown in Medford where their policy is for you to "feel" the sound, not just barely hear it. (I'm not affiliated with Tinseltown - just a movie goer who loves seeing movies there instead of Southgate)

Newly remodeled. I sat in the smallest movie theater I've ever been in here, 5 rows. HMMMM.
