Yesterday, on 2/9/16 (around 3pm), the older blonde woman working at the pharmacy window rudely handed back my prescription, saying they did not carry it. I asked if another CVS did and without checking, she replied she did not know but reiterated that they did not carry it there. I just got off the phone with corporate and learned that as I had suspected, she could have offered to call it in. There is no excuse for this, particularly not from a customer service standpoint.

cancer patient is refused medication

I dropped my prescription of to the store pharmacy and was told it would be ready in hour. Battling cancer stage 3 I still continue to work 4days 12hrdays in the health care field. Live in the granville village. I was diagnosed with cancer in May. My company doesnt offer medical insurance so after 75,000.00 in bills not covered by medicaid, from missing 8wks off work i finally was approved. Worried how i would pay for up coming prescriptions cost. I needed my pain medication for my kidneys not functioning proper after chemotherapy and radiation. The pharmacy refused to take a discount card off of my file and run my medication under my new insurance so i could be alittle less pain free. She said she didnt feel comfortable filing pain medication like i was a chronic user. I did get very upset probably said things i shouldnt after her uncompassion of human needs. Her name well she wont say but on her tag it said last name Webster. She was a mean person and should try a new career. I have filled hundreds of dollars worth medication for my husband who has ms out of pocket cost. After today i will take my business elsewhere. Someone who cares that little scares me how easy they could make a uncaring mistake.
