Provided by YPmobileEveryone except Dr. Handcock Emergency Room Dr. was excellent! I came to the ER @ Baylor Grapevine because I was sleeping & woke up with a stabbiñg pain in mid section of my back. I mean PAIN! The ones upfront took me straight to a room. I saw a PA & he immediately ordered me pain & nausea shots. My BP was 163/110. And no I don't have high BP issues. I was in pain!
Dr. Hancock didn't do any blood work, any tests! He then proceeded to tell me I was being discharged with a 10 pain level, & because he didn't run tests, no REAL diagnoses. Last wk I was told I had cancer in my rt lung. I told him that & told him I felt like he was pushing me out the door. I had to beg for a prescription. And he refused to talk to me upon leaving.

Provided by YP.comER staff was very nice and promptly reviewed my illness and symptoms. I was admitted to the hospital and spent ten days there. That's where my experience was not so great. Nurses were somewhat aloof, and staff doctors relied heavily on input from nurses. Had several different hospitalists, none of whom seemed to be very good doctors. Pain management doctor was poor. The hospital is very nice and attractive but lacks really talented and skilled staff physicians.
