This place wants a $20.00 fee to process the application, and they want it when you turn in your application. You don't get the money back even if you find another apt. The manager told me this.

I turned in my application in December. I went there a few months later to check on the length of the waiting list. I was told then about the money. I told the manager that I had never heard of this in a low income apt. She said she always tell people about the fee when they call for a application. She did not tell me when I called. I said I'd get the fee sent in but forgot. I called again to check about the waiting list. The manager looked my application up and said I paid the fee. I told her I hadn't sent it yet and she said I had. So I again say she was mistaken. She didn't know what was wrong. Then she tells me that I have to go to the bottom of the list because I hadn't sent in the money, Nothing was ever said about this either. I explained that I didn't understand why I could not just come up and give her the check. She said that her supervisors would see that the date on my application was different that my check. She said she could not do anything about my having to go to the bottom of the list. She also said I had to fill out another application. I called her later that evening and told her to take me off their list because I didn't want to go to the bottom of the list again and was on a list at another apt.

My visual of this place. The laundry room was dirty and a mess. One of the people that lives there let me see their apt. The kitchen is very small and the carpet wasn't nice. Nice play ground though, nice little patio and nice trees. Can't BBQ there. I would advise calling before you go there. I drove forty miles twice, during office hours, and the office was closed.
