Provided by YP.comI found this place via Craigslist,and they had great rates for jetski rentals. We set up a rental via the phone - and was confirmed for rental and delivery to a nearby lake. I called the night before to reconfirm - making sure that the exact delivery location and time was clear, and to confirm that they would launch the boat in the water and I would pick it up in the water(as I didn't have a tow car)
Sure enough, they called a few minutes before scheduled delivery time to let me know they were running 10 minutes late. They finally called (45 minutes later) to say they had arrived. I didn't see them - and it turns out they were of course, at the wrong location (nearly an hour away). Not only were they an hour away, but they were at a nearby gas station waiting to transfer the trailer, and weren't prepared to actually launch the boat.
I drove to meet them after explaining that they needed to launch the boat, and that we had clearly agreed and confirmed that I was picking the boat up on the water. We finally met up, and they agreed to drop the rental fee to a half-day rate (since we had lost several hours due to their mis-delivery). The boat was great, ran fine, we had fun, and they picked it up as agreed that afternoon.
Sure enough, I check my credit card statement weeks later, only to find that not only did they not charge me the agreed-upon half-day rate, but they didn't charge me the agreed-upon full-day rate either! They charged nearly triple what we had agreed to - and I had the contract and invoice to prove it.
So, giving them benefit of the doubt, I called to get the charge sorted. I left messages on 3 different phones, used their online contact form (via their website), and heard nothing back. I repeated this process three more times over the following month - and never once got a call back. Once I left a message telling them I would have to resolve this through my CC company, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau - they finally called me back. They gave lots of excuses, said they were confused over the paperwork, passed the buck to "the other guys". They agreed to look into it, and promised me up-and-down a return call the next day to resolve the charges.
Sure enough, they didn't call. So, here I am.
Beware this company. Expect incompetence, mis-communication, poor service, and excuses. And and watch your billing closely - whether dishonestly or just bad record-keeping - don't trust these guys.
