Provided by YP.comMy grandmother was here for rehabilitation. The staff were excellent, the therapist worked with her daily. They were encouraging and knew how to push without seeming too. The nurses called us with any question or changes, so we never felt out of the loop. She was able to return to her apartment which was her ultimate desire, but did remark that she missed all the attention that she had received at Spring Hill. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing rehabilitation,

Provided by YP.comI wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! During the time my elderly family member was there, there were multiple mistakes with billing Medicare services, dates to release him that were cancelled and rescheduled, some at the last minute after family flew in to help him at home, then had to leave a week later & he was still not released; mistakes in getting at home equipment to him when he was finally released, and many many more! The only staff who deserve praise were the PT's and OT's. Yes staff were friendly, but we had to request services be given and insist on seeing records to get answers. As a nurse, I have worked in these facilities & none were as incompetent as this one seemed to be.

Provided by YP.comfirst off i have to say that all the caregivers there are so kind hearted, caring and compassionate about all of the patients at facility.. most of them will go above and beyond what's expected of them and even go out of their ways to spend their hard earned money on clothes, special food, make up, hair stuff, body care products; you name it i've seen them do so.. my grandmother had been a patient there a long time and every care giver she had i absolutely adored.. they went out of their way even painting her nails and giving her that extra bit of tlc... now as for the people who are in charge of all the care givers ,i have to say my thoughts towards them are not the same at all. they are rude to their staff members beneath them and let them know they are beneath them.. i have seen alot of those poor girls with the saddest looks on their faces and from the way it looks to me is they feel very unappreciated but must have to stay in order to keep food in their mouths and a roof over their head to be treated that way and stay.. i was there a few months ago and the caregivers were training a girl who only stayed for 3 days; she walked out crying from those 2 ladies who had pulled her into the office; i can just imagine how they had talked to the poor thing to make her cry that way.. i have seen so many caregivers come and go and sometimes i wonder why there's always all these people that come and go.. i tried to ask the caregivers what's going on but it's like they're all scared to talk or say anything bad about the place just keeping smiles on their faces but edgy when the ladies are near them?? so i'd have to give this place only 1 star as far as all that goes but i'd like to thank all the caregivers and give them a 6 star review foir the care that was given to my grandmother in her last years..

Provided by YP.comRecently my mother was hospitalized at Spring Hill Manor in Grass Valley, CA. While I visited often, every staff member was helpful and truly concerned with my mother's care. Based on my experience, I would recomment Spring Hill Manor to others in need of special care.

Provided by YP.comAfter suffering a broken hip this summer, the staff and therapy helped me recover and return home independently. Both myself and family were treated as family and I was informed of my care status every step of the way.
