Provided by YP.comSome of the teachers there were very rude. Mr. Kiernan accused me of breaking a book and acted like a fool about it in front of the entire class. I had some other issues there.

Provided by YPmobileI am about to start my sophomore year at Daniel Boone. If you are thinking about attending this school, don't. If you read other reviews on the school, most people say its a good school. They are terribly misguided. I am a good student, however, teachers bend the rules for certain students, low test scores, and little opportunity effect the ability to get into a decent collage. You will only receive scholar ships by running cross country. The school board does not uptain this school very well either. Students have very little chance of getting into a good university if they graduate from here. The clicks here are terrible, and unfortunately, the community is full of people who do not value a good education with a collage degree. Drugs and tobacco are also problems here. Students stay hours after school in the lower parking lots and smoke even with the teachers knowing. I would much rather go to an kingsport city school than attend boone. Very few of the teachers challenge the students minds and want to help the students. I am very disapointed in the Washington Co. Schools system. This school system would never get their hands on my child's education. The community doesn't really understand or care about the benefit of a decent education. Students are not treated fairly here at all, except for if you are a good athlete and play on a sports team. It seems these students can get away with disrupting class for the other students many times before they face very minor consequences for their actions. The student who have adult connections or parents who went here can also get away with volugar language and disrespect toward teachers and other students.
