Great Falls Public Schools, located in Great Falls, Mont., provides a comprehensive program that offers individual educational services for students in prekindergarten through grade 12. The students are taught in the general education classroom by special education and classroom teachers. Special Education Department staff includes teachers, physical, occupational and speech therapists, paraprofessionals, psychologists, and vision and motor specialists. Great Falls Public Schools also offers an extended curriculum services and gifted education program. The program offers regular core curriculum that is taught at a pace commensurate with student s abilities. It also has service teachers that act as a resource for classroom teachers, and offer collaboration and consultation concerning identification and differentiation, by providing pullout and replacement class options and extensions.
